Let’s be honest: not everyone is a golfer.
Maybe you’ve tried it once and spent most of the afternoon in the rough. Maybe Monday, June 8, is already spoken for. Maybe the idea of navigating a golf course makes you more anxious than excited — and the idea of spending the day there sounds less like a fun outing and more like a long, sunny commitment.
We get it. And we created Golf Fore Good for you.
What Golf Fore Good is (and who it’s for)
Our 18th Annual Coalition Golf Outing is one of our biggest fundraising events of the year. Each June, board members, sponsors, and community supporters gather at The Legend at Merrill Hills in Waukesha to play a round and raise money for Wisconsin’s foster, adoptive, and kinship families.
It’s a wonderful event. But not everyone can be there — and that doesn’t mean you can’t be part of it.
Golf Fore Good is our fundraising page for anyone who wants to give directly to the Coalition in the spirit of the outing. No registration. No golf clubs. No dress code. Just a genuine way to show up for Wisconsin families from wherever you are.
Why it matters
The Coalition serves more than 3,000 foster, adoptive, and kinship families across Wisconsin. These are families who stepped up — sometimes overnight, sometimes unexpectedly — to care for children who needed them. And they do extraordinary work.
But they shouldn’t have to do it alone.
Through our programs, the Coalition provides peer support, training, and connections that help families feel less isolated and more equipped. The funding that comes in through events like the Golf Outing helps make that possible — every year, for every family who needs it.
When you give through Golf Fore Good, you’re not just contributing to an event. You’re making sure that a foster parent in the Fox Valley has someone to call. That a kinship grandparent in Milwaukee doesn’t have to figure out the system on their own. That an adoptive family in Green Bay knows they’re not alone.

- $50 — The First Drive: A meaningful start that helps families access peer support and resources.
- $100 — On the Fairway: Helps fund training and connection for caregivers across Wisconsin.
- $250 — The Approach Shot: A significant investment in the families who show up for kids every day.
- $500 — Hole in One: A transformational gift that makes a real difference in the lives of Wisconsin families.
Whatever level works for you is the right level. The families we serve aren’t measuring the size of your generosity — they’re grateful for it.
