One Drop Starts a Ripple. A Steady Drip Keeps It Going.
Families don’t ask for help on a schedule.
A foster parent reaches out after a hard day. A grandparent raising a grandchild looks for answers on an ordinary Tuesday. A caseworker calls because she’s run out of ideas and wants someone who knows what to try next. In 2025, 1,254 families connected with the Coalition for Children, Youth & Families (the Coalition), and 1,174 of them were reaching out for the very first time.
One of them told us, “There isn’t something wrong with us, our home, or our family. We just needed support.”
That kind of support has to be there when the call comes, not only when a big event happens to be on the calendar. Events are wonderful, and we are grateful for every one of them. But the families we serve need us on all the other days, too.
That is why we’re opening Ripples of Change.
Ripples of Change is a monthly giving community for people who want to be a steady, dependable part of how Wisconsin’s foster, adoptive, and kinship families get support. A single gift sets a ripple in motion. A monthly gift keeps it spreading.
Here is how it works:
- Choose your amount. Give $10, $25, $50, or an amount of your own.
- Choose “Monthly” first on the giving page, then your amount.
- No long-term pledge. Give what feels right for you.
- Share your why. If you’d like, tell us what brought you here. We’ll share it only with your okay.
- Everyone belongs equally. The size of the gift changes the gift, never your place in this community.
Every new Ripple also receives a small welcome gift from us.
